Donate to The APFSCGreetings Atlas peak neighbors! We are pleased to inform you that the roadside fuel reduction project that was started last year will be completed soon. Last year, the road edge was cleared from Westgate up to Circle R Ranch. Brush and hazardous trees were cleared between 15 and 30 feet from the road edge on both sides. The same will be done this year going from Circle R Ranch to the end of the public road. At some point in April work will begin. Residents driving this section will need to be careful to watch for workers and equipment. There will be traffic control. This project is funded through Napa Firewise and a grant they secured.
Depending upon when the weeds dry out, the annual roadside weed clearing will be done by late May, to June.
